Bill, Susie, Olivia and Maggie

Bill, Susie and big sister Olivia recently welcomed baby Maggie into their family, so when's a better time for some pictures?

This family is so delightful. I love two year olds (maybe I'm biased as my little one turns two next weekend). They are certainly not the easiest subjects to shoot, but they are so fun! Always so much personality. Little Maggie was a wonderful model as well. She is a super mellow little girl. Thanks again your guys! I had a wonderful time being part of your family for a few hours!

Ninja with a Nikon

While you are all waiting for me to catch up on my blogging......here is a funny shot sent to me by Tyler S. from when I was shooting with him a few weeks back. I'm all ninja-style up in the balcony....

November 16, 2007: Clare's Bridal

Oh I am a touch behind on blogging. Must be the turkey (and stuffing and apple pie) hangover from Thanksgiving......

Claire is getting married in New Orleans in January and needed some quick portraits for her hometown paper. We had a great time playing in front of my orange wall. I LOVE her dress!!!!! Have a wonderful wedding Claire! Feel free to send me some beignets!!!!!

November 11, 2007: Bobby & Jill

Bobby and Jill wanted some pictures to give to their parents for Christmas. We had a great time playing at Mayfield park the other weekend. It's always very fun to shoot adult siblings.

Thanks so much you guys!

And now for some bad news....

Well, not really, but I have to put on my bossypants and I don't enjoy doing that. Here we go...

As a reminder, to receive your portraits before Christmas, I must receive your order by December 2, 2007. Unfortunately, the deadline for Christmas delivery of albums has now passed.

On a brighter note, stay tuned this week for some sneak peeks of:
  • Nathan and Alex's portrait session
  • Claire's Bridal portrait
  • Heather and Chip's Wedding
  • Maggie & Olivia's portraits
  • Greta's portraits
  • Quinn's portraits

Phew! That is a long to do list - I'm off to work!

Have a great week everyone!

November 11, 2007: Marissa & Shea

So SO cute these two! I had a ball shooting Marissa and Shea this past weekend at Mayfield Park. The weather and light were amazing! On a random side note, winter light is THE BEST (in my opinion anyway) so don't let the cooler temperatures scare you away from having outdoor portraits made.

In addition to great conditions, Marissa and Shea are completely adorable, in love and so photogenic. Thanks for the great afternoon you two!

I don't know why I like this picture so much but I do! Again! With the cuteness!

Scott, Kathryn, Will, Anna Laura, John Paul & Clare

Phew! That is a lot of names.

I'm sure you will recognize this delightful family from other posts on the blog. This time I got all six of them at the same time!

We had a high-spirited and very fun morning in downtown last Sunday. I always enjoy being around this family.

On to the pics!

Brothers

All six!

Just Scott & Kathryn

Will, Clare & Anna Laura

OK, I know I shouldn't play favorites.....but John Paul has to be the most animated little kid I've met in quite some time, so I wanted to share his many faces with you. As his mom has repeatedly told me "They really broke the mold with this one." So true.

Thanks again y'all!

October 14, 2007: Sapna & Anuj

I have been looking forward to shooting Sapna and Anuj's Engagement Portrait this past Sunday. They both recently moved to Seattle and we had a lot of fun talking about my old stomping grounds as we wandered around the UT campus, which is where they met.

They were up for anything! When I asked if they minded sitting on the ground, jumping off steps or sitting in a stairwell, the answer was always "No problem! We'll do that!". They are very much in love and I think it shows in the photos.

Thanks again you two - I had so much fun! On to pics!

Anne's Bridal Session

As promised, here are some shots from Anne's Bridal Session. We shot these at Laguna Gloria and had a ball despite the heat.

Anne is amazingly photogenic (and completely stunning) so I had a hard time narrowing down my blog selections.

Enjoy!

October 6, 2007: Anne & Wes

Anne & Wes were married this past Saturday at Anne's parent's house in Wimberley, Texas, followed by a reception at the Wimberley Community Center. It was a beautiful day to be married in the big backyard. I've really enjoyed getting to know Anne & Wes these past few months and was so happy to be involved with their big day. Everyone treated me like family and I had a wonderful time. Congratulations!

First Dance

You can't really see it at this size, but the sign in the background says "and they lived happily ever after". Perfect, right?
