Casey, Rhonda, Gracie & Will

Fun family today, blog readers!
Despite the steamy weather yesterday (and I mean steamy - I was pretty gross about 5 minutes into this session) we had a blast shooting in downtown.

Will and Gracie were so well behaved and did pretty much everything I asked them too. Will is only a few months older than my daughter and was so much more cooperative! I later found out that might have had something to do with a bribe of ice cream. But whatever works, I say. Towards the end of the session, he'd ask 'Is it time for ice cream now?' Cuties.

Just Mom & Dad, because they were once Casey & Rhonda

I love Gracie's sassy haircut.

Thanks again you four. I had so much fun. I hope you enjoyed burgers and milkshakes after the shoot!

An Extraordinary Day

I had the privilege of spending the morning with Ron, Janet, Clay, Carrie, Dean, Bill, Susie, Olivia and Maggie this past weekend. I shot out at Ron and Janet's home in Salado as part of an Extraordinary Day package. They are an amazing family and I had so much fun. Thanks so much for welcoming me into your family for a morning!

Here is a peek into their day.

Family Portrait

Grandma and Grandpa just got a new antique merry go round. Needless to say, it was a big hit.

Baby Dean was very interested in me. He couldn't quite figure out if I was a new Aunt he had or some random cousin or just a weird lady with a big black machine in front of her face.

I asked Olivia to show me the flower she had picked during the portrait session and this is what happened. Being two rules.

This one just cracks me up.

Lots of swinging

Whee!!!

Olivia was trying to help push Maggie, but misjudged the distance a little.

Reading with Grandma

Sleeping monkey in a tree.

Dad and Grandpa are like "I don't know how she got up there."

A little hoops action. Seriously? Is this the best backyard ever or what?

All in all, a VERY big day.

February 10, 2008: Elisa

Welcome baby Elisa!!!

I was supposed to photograph mom, Rita's, maternity portraits, but due to a bit of a rough patch towards the end of her pregnancy, we had to postpone. Look who I got to photograph instead!

Elisa is only 2 weeks old here and there is not a more alert and ready to take on the world little newborn around. I love newborn sessions!

Thank you so much for allowing me some time with your brand new family!!

I think this is her first "But mom!!!"

Bill, Susie, Olivia and Maggie

Bill, Susie and big sister Olivia recently welcomed baby Maggie into their family, so when's a better time for some pictures?

This family is so delightful. I love two year olds (maybe I'm biased as my little one turns two next weekend). They are certainly not the easiest subjects to shoot, but they are so fun! Always so much personality. Little Maggie was a wonderful model as well. She is a super mellow little girl. Thanks again your guys! I had a wonderful time being part of your family for a few hours!

On to pics!
