October 14, 2007: Sapna & Anuj
I have been looking forward to shooting Sapna and Anuj's Engagement Portrait this past Sunday. They both recently moved to Seattle and we had a lot of fun talking about my old stomping grounds as we wandered around the UT campus, which is where they met.
They were up for anything! When I asked if they minded sitting on the ground, jumping off steps or sitting in a stairwell, the answer was always "No problem! We'll do that!". They are very much in love and I think it shows in the photos.
Thanks again you two - I had so much fun! On to pics!

Anne's Bridal Session
As promised, here are some shots from Anne's Bridal Session. We shot these at Laguna Gloria and had a ball despite the heat.
Anne is amazingly photogenic (and completely stunning) so I had a hard time narrowing down my blog selections.
Enjoy!

October 6, 2007: Anne & Wes
Anne & Wes were married this past Saturday at Anne's parent's house in Wimberley, Texas, followed by a reception at the Wimberley Community Center. It was a beautiful day to be married in the big backyard. I've really enjoyed getting to know Anne & Wes these past few months and was so happy to be involved with their big day. Everyone treated me like family and I had a wonderful time. Congratulations!

I love this shot from the ceremony
Flower girl fun
You can't really see it at this size, but the sign in the background says "and they lived happily ever after". Perfect, right?

September 30, 2007: Anika, Rachel & Mike
Rachel, Mike and Anika put up with me looking like I do after a late night of wedding shooting (which is generally not my best look) for a family portrait shoot at the Capitol and downtown Austin last Sunday.
Rachel is the fabulous and creative woman who designed my new logo that you're now seeing happily splashed all over my website and blog. It was great to meet her husband Mike and spend some more time with her delightful baby girl Anika. They are incredibly photogenic and tons 'o fun.
Thanks again you three!

September 29, 2007: Allison & Clark
Back to work with the always fabulous Tyler Schmitt this weekend! Allison and Clark were married this past Saturday at the Shoreline Grill. The weather didn't cooperate for an outdoor ceremony, but despite the rain they are married and it was beautiful! They are a very sweet and funny couple with wonderful friends and family. I had a great time! Thanks for having me!
Lindy and Lindsey from 36th Street Weddings coordinated the wedding and did an amazing job keeping everything under control and running smoothly, even with all of the last minute changes. They also kept me in stitches with some of the funniest dinner conversation I've had in quite some time. They are delightful all around.

Clark is a big fan of Shiner Bock Beer, so I thought I'd get a little creative with the ring shot.

Allison and friends dashing over to the Shoreline. About 10 seconds after I took this picture, the real torrents started.
